2 commissions 1 performance

by karen Krolak

Hot dog, I can not wait for this weekend. If you are in the area, I strongly suggest that you hustle up to Beverly, Beverly, Beverly for Endicott College's Repertory Dance Ensemble's  Guest Choreographer Series II concert. It features modern and contemporary works by Shawn Martini, entertainment director
Kimberly Miller, Senior Education Major
Member of the Repertory Dance Ensemble
of the upcoming cruise line, “Legends International;” Nikki Sao Pedro, Coordinator of Dance at Endicott College; and Mariah Steele, artistic director of Quicksilver Dance Company, Cambridge, MA, and me.

As an added bonus, Dance'N Feet will premiere another piece choreographed by me as part of the Friday night and Saturday matinee. Dance’N Feet is a senior women's dance group (age range 61-74), who learn and perform short jazz/modern/acrobatic dances to keep fit (mentally AND physically), have fun, entertain and inspire others. Their mission is to reach a wide audience and show them that dance is great fun for people of all ages and backgrounds.

I have never had commissions from two radically different companies premiere alongside each other like this before. Thanks Nikki for creating this wonderful opportunity.
